I understand the meaning, and why they have "Christmas", but is there any reasons related with snow and Christmas tree?

Very Happy :study: (Christmas Tree)

The Christmas tree is considered by some as Christianisation of pagan tradition and ritual surrounding the Winter Solstice, which included the use of evergreen boughs, and an adaptation of pagan tree worship;[51] according to eighth-century biographer Æddi Stephanus, Saint Boniface (634-709), who was a missionary in Germany, took an axe to an oak tree dedicated to Thor and pointed out a fir tree, which he stated was a more fitting object of reverence because it pointed to heaven and it had a triangular shape, which he said was symbolic of the Trinity.[52] The English language phrase "Christmas tree" is first recorded in 1835[53] and represents an importation from the German language. The modern Christmas tree tradition is believed to have begun in Germany in the 18th century[51] though many argue that Martin Luther began the tradition in the 16th century. Wink good

Winter festivals
Main article: List of winter festivals
A winter festival was the most popular festival of the year in many cultures. Reasons included the fact that less agricultural work needs to be done during the winter, as well as an expectation of better weather as spring approached.[91] Modern Christmas customs include: gift-giving and merrymaking from Roman Saturnalia; greenery, lights, and charity from the Roman New Year; and Yule logs and various foods from Germanic feasts.[92]
Pagan Scandinavia celebrated a winter festival called Yule, held in the late December to early January period.[citation needed] As Northern Europe was the last part to Christianize, its pagan traditions had a major influence on Christmas, especially Koleda,[93] which was incorporated into the Christmas carol. Scandinavians still call Christmas Jul. In English, the word Yule is synonymous with Christmas,[94] a usage first recorded in 900. Wink good

Hello Miss. KuonNis,

There're some KhmersBuddish Follower converted to religious Christian, cuz they love to celebrate the Merry Xmass and they wish to be born in the Heaven of their next lives.

Would you considering about the heaven for your next born???

I don't wish about heaven for my next life.
To me:I realized I am lucky enough(heaven this life) that I was born on this planet, be apart of my family members, be Cambodian, be in a part of Buddhism religion, be able to go to school, be able to have enough foods to eat, And I have my lovely family as I do in this life.
So if next life really does exist, I would wish to have just like what I have in this life. that is enough.
( I don't care much if I cant celebrate Christmas)

You know all people have the different abitions to each other...althing in their current lives are not enough for them, cuz they need more and more til they have no want...

By that time their properties will be leave behind to next persons, they will be exist in a new world, it depends on what they had done in this lives. Some of them going down to the hell, their lives are suffered and miserabled in all different types if they had been done bad thing in the past. but some other they will be born in the Heaven cuz they are cleaned and good indeed. Therefore, whenever we still stay alive, we have to do good indeed and help people who need our help...we help them, it doesnt mean we want to get some benefits from them or we want them to help us back...but I believe some other will be help us that we dont recognize it...So!!!??

For instance: you're a lady who was born in a lucky family compare to other's. cuz you did good thing from the past, thats why you're going to have this current life. So!!!

You have to pray for your next born to be some thing again and again!!! dont you??
